Damage – Stoddard Village Park

Vernon County Crime Stoppers, along with the Vernon County Sheriff’s Office, is asking for your help.

Crime: Damage at Stoddard Park…..on two separate incidents, damage was done at the village park in Stoddard. During the overnight hours of July 6, 2017, someone knocked over and removed the head off a statute of a baseball player.  A lock was also cut on a sky box.  Between July 13-14, 2017, someone broke into the Lions Club shelter at the park by removing a small window.  **Photos of the damage can also be seen at www.facebook.com/vernoncrimestoppers.

It is our hope that details of this actual case from police records may cause someone to remember and report what they know about the person or persons involved. Tipsters may be eligible for cash rewards of up to $1,000.00 and will remain anonymous.

Vernon County Crimestoppers would like to announce…..starting on July 12, 2017, we have purchased a new tip management program called P3, which can be found at www.p3tips.com.  Submitting tips has never been easier now and it is completely anonymous.  These tips will continue to be submitted directly to Vernon County Crime Stoppers so do not worry that that your tip is going to some other big company before it hits our lap….not so!

Text tips…GONE but not exactly!  Not a big deal because there is a mobile app for this program and it works great.  The mobile app can be installed from Google Play or Apple App Store.  As soon as you can, please download the P3 app on to your smart phone and get ready to submit tips to Vernon County Crime Stoppers!

Mailbox Vandalism – Town of Coon

Crime:  Mailbox vandalism…on July 5, 2017 at about 3:00AM, some mailboxes located at County Road B/Hage Ln in the Town of Coon were damaged.  The damage was possibly caused by someone placing fireworks in one of the mailboxes. **Photos of the mailboxes can also be seen on our Facebook page at www.faceboook.com/vernoncrimestoppers.
