House Damage – Desoto Area

Crime: Window Damage…..sometime during the evening of August 18, 2017 on Lawrence Ridge Road just northeast of DeSoto, a house window was damaged by two large rocks being thrown through the window. The rocks was thrown through the west side window from the outside of the house causing substantial damage.  **A photo of the window and rock can also be seen at www.faceboook.com/vernoncrimestoppers.       

It is our hope that details of this actual case from police records may cause someone to remember and report what they know about the person or persons involved. Tipsters may be eligible for cash rewards of up to $1,000.00 and will remain anonymous.

Board of Directors – New Additions!

Vernon County Crimestoppers would like to announce…..the addition of three new people to our board of directors! We would like to welcome Daniel Johnson (Chaseburg), Kristi Deaver (Viola) and Arvid Lothen (Westby) to our organization as we look forward to their input on ways to improve our program. We are confident that these new directors will be great additions and they will work hard to do their part in working to keep our communities safer through our mission here at Vernon County Crime Stoppers! **Please know that you can always seek out a Crime Stoppers director in your own community to give them ideas or concerns because it is YOU, the community members, who make our program work. Damage – Stoddard Village Park

Vernon County Crime Stoppers, along with the Vernon County Sheriff’s Office, is asking for your help.

Crime: Damage at Stoddard Park…..on two separate incidents, damage was done at the village park in Stoddard. During the overnight hours of July 6, 2017, someone knocked over and removed the head off a statute of a baseball player.  A lock was also cut on a sky box.  Between July 13-14, 2017, someone broke into the Lions Club shelter at the park by removing a small window.  **Photos of the damage can also be seen at www.facebook.com/vernoncrimestoppers.
