During the evening hours of Saturday, July 23, 2016, a white 1996 Chevrolet Tahoe was completely burned while it was parked behind an automotive repair shop on Swiggum Street in the City of Westby.  The shop is located on the north side of Westby in the industrial area.  The Tahoe had been parked at the shop for 2-3 months.  If you know who took part in the burning of this vehicle, submit an ANONYMOUS tip!!

Crime:  Theft of fishing equipment…during the evening hours of Sunday night, May 29, 2016, multiple pieces of fishing equipment were stolen from a boat in the area of State Highway 35 south of Genoa.  The boat was trailered and parked on a property along STH 35.  Stolen from the boat was a Lowrance fish finder HDS-9, a Lowrance fish finder HDS-12 and a Minn  Kota Fortrex trolling motor.

Crime:  Sometime during the night of May 14, 2016, a truck crashed into a creek on Knapp Valley Road in the Town of Clinton east of Westby.  Damage was done to the homeowner’s trees and yard.  A second truck, possibly with dually wheels, was also involved and assisted the first truck that went into the creek.  One of the trucks is missing a John Deere emblem license plate.
