New Board Member – Westby Area

Vernon County Crimestoppers would like to announce…the addition of Bob VonRuden to our board of directors!  Bob will be one of two people on our board who will represent the Westby area.  We look forward to having Bob on our team as we continue to work with our local law enforcement professionals in keeping our communities safer through our mission here at Vernon County Crime Stoppers!  Thank you, Bob, for your willingness to serve on our board and promote law enforcement in our communities.

Please know that you can always seek out a Crime Stoppers director in your own community to give them ideas or concerns because it is YOU, the community members, who make our program work.

Vernon County Crimestoppers would like to announce…the addition of two new people to our board of directors!  Ashley Palmer (LaFarge) and Jana Pedretti (Westby) have been serving our board for about 2 years now and they have already been a great asset to our organization.  Both Ashley and Jana have been great additions, and they continue to work hard to do their part in working to keep our communities safer through our mission here at Vernon County Crime Stoppers! **Please know that you can always seek out a Crime Stoppers director in your own community to give them ideas or concerns because it is YOU, the community members, who make our program work. Stolen Snowmobiles – Coon Valley, WI

Vernon County Crime Stoppers, along with the Vernon County Sheriff’s Office, is asking for  your help.

Crime:  We need your help!  Between the hours of 1:00 PM on Saturday, June 15th, and 1:00 PM on Sunday, June 16th (Father’s Day), two snowmobiles were stolen from a storage unit, along Old Mill Road, in the village of Coon Valley.  Taken from the unit within that 24-hour time period was a red, white, and blue-colored 2020 Polaris Indy 600cc snowmobile and a red and black 2005 Arctic Cat SaberCat 700cc snowmobile.

We will offer a high CASH reward to anyone who provides us with information that results in the recovery of these snowmobiles, or the arrest of the person(s) involved.

It is our hope that details of this actual case from police records may cause someone to remember and report what they know about the person(s).  Tipsters may be eligible for cash rewards of up to $3,000.00 and will remain anonymous.
