Theft – Valley Avenue
Vernon County Crime Stoppers, along with the Vernon County Sheriff’s Office, is asking for your help.
Crime: Sometime between the fall of 2015 and March, 2016, a theft took place at a farm building on Valley Avenue northeast of LaFarge. Stolen was a black, 5500-watt Storm Responder generator that was about 5 years old.
It is our hope that details of this actual case from police records may cause someone to remember and report what they know about the person or persons involved. Tipsters may be eligible for cash rewards of up to $1,000.00 and will remain anonymous.
Damage – Esofea Park

Crime: Property Damage…..during the evening hours of Monday, November 24, 2014 or early morning hours of Tuesday, November 25, 2014, severe damage was done to the grass at Esofea Park, which is on Park Road in
the Town of Jefferson. The intentional damage was done by at least two vehicles by driving and spinning through the fresh snow resulting in the damage to the grass. An empty red bag of Lays potato chips was left at the scene.
